2nd post for the week. :3
Shown in this picture are mostly all of the objects that
influence me to draw: My Bristol book, the anatomy book I got from Studio Art
during my first semester, my Art S. Buck Manikins, and the art studio case I
won from the Montefiore Valentines art contest back in year 2009. I use the
case as a table because I don’t have one. I really would like to have one
because having no spinal support puts a lot of strain on my back. One of the main reasons why these items
inspire for me to draw is because without them, I wouldn't be able to! But of
course, there are other reasons: I’m very grateful to have these items,
especially considering the fact that the people who live around me do not and have
never even had any access to them. Having this art case means a lot to me and
is a huge inspiration because using my own talents has allowed for me to
achieve it. I have learned a lot ever since last year. Before going to college,
I never even knew that there was such a thing as an anatomy book. I still make
mistakes as any other person who likes to draw, but because of college, the
anatomy book shown on the right as well as the manikins, I have slowly
improved, although there’s always room for more creative and anatomical growth.
